Admission Policy
At Assisi Niketan Convent School, we strive to make the admission process smooth, transparent, and aligned with our values of integrity and inclusiveness. Admission is granted based on seat availability, eligibility criteria, and compliance with school guidelines.
General Admission Guidelines
- Applications for admission must be submitted on the official admission form available at the school office or announced on the school bulletin board.
- Admissions to Nursery and LKG must be completed before the last date specified on the application form or school notice board.
- Admission to other classes is considered only against vacancies, and such admissions are not regularly scheduled.
Documents Required for Admission
Parents/guardians applying for admission must provide the following documents:
- A Transfer Certificate (TC) from the previous school, countersigned by the appropriate educational authority if transferring from a board other than CBSE.
- A copy of the Progress Report from the last academic year, reflecting academic performance and participation in co-curricular activities.
- Date of Birth Certificate as recorded in the Admission Form or TC. Once submitted, the date of birth will not be altered under any circumstances.
Admission Criteria
- The school admits students based on age-appropriateness, availability of seats, and readiness of the child.
- All admissions are provisional until the required documents are verified and approved.
Note: Assisi Niketan Convent School currently offers education up to Class VIII.
Withdrawal and Re-Admission
- A written notice of one calendar month must be given for the withdrawal of a student. In lieu of such notice, a month’s fee will be charged.
- A Transfer Certificate will be issued only after all dues are cleared and school property (including library books) is returned.
- Re-admission of a previously withdrawn student will require payment of the Entrance Fee again.
- Students withdrawn in April or May are required to pay the full tuition fees up to June.
School’s Right to Deny or Revoke Admission
The school reserves the right to:
- Decline admission or ask for withdrawal in cases of poor academic progress, non-payment of fees, or misconduct.
- Remove students whose conduct is considered harmful to others, or whose actions conflict with the moral values and discipline of the school.
Maintaining honesty, cleanliness, good behavior, and respect for authority is expected of all students.
Serious offenses such as immorality, willful damage to school property, or grave insubordination may lead to dismissal.
