Rules of Discipline

At Assisi Niketan Convent School, we believe that discipline is the foundation of character. Our rules are designed to instill responsibility, respect, and orderliness in our students while fostering a safe and nurturing learning environment.

General Conduct

  • All students must bring their school diary every day for communication and record-keeping.
  • Students must leave the school premises only with their parents or authorized guardians.
  • Politeness, honesty, and respect for others are expected at all times.

Uniform and Cleanliness

  • Students must come to school clean, well-groomed, and dressed neatly in the prescribed school uniform.
  • The uniform must be worn on all school days, during examinations, and at school functions—both within and outside the school.
  • Improper or untidy dress may result in the student being sent home.

Health and Safety

  • Buying food from unauthorized vendors near the school premises is strictly prohibited.
  • Bursting crackers, splashing colors, or engaging in any unsafe activity within the school campus is not allowed.
  • Students must refrain from running or shouting inside classrooms and corridors.

Responsibility and Care

  • Students must take good care of school property. Any damage caused will have to be compensated by the one responsible.
  • Personal items such as cardigans, books, water bottles, and lunch boxes should be labeled clearly with the student’s name.
  • The school is not responsible for lost books, stationery, or personal belongings. Wearing jewelry or carrying valuable items is strongly discouraged.

Behavior and Discipline

  • Students must maintain regular attendance and punctuality.
  • Misbehavior, disobedience, disrespect towards staff, or any conduct harmful to the school’s environment will lead to disciplinary action.
  • The school reserves the right to suspend or dismiss a student for repeated violations of conduct.

Permissions and Restrictions

  • Students are not permitted to bring any books, newspapers, magazines, or other materials unrelated to schoolwork without the Principal’s permission.
  • Organizing collections, meetings, or parties within school premises requires prior written approval from the Principal.
  • Any form of gift or public display of appreciation for staff must be done only with the Principal’s approval.

Language Policy

  • All students are expected to converse in English within the school premises to enhance language proficiency and confidence.

Parental Guidance

  • After school hours, students must return home directly and should not visit friends’ or relatives’ houses without prior parental permission.
  • Parents are requested to guide their children to follow these rules sincerely and reinforce the values imparted at school.
